HAS Keeping Herefordshire Tidy

Fly-tipping rubbish is an offence in Britain. However, councils have reported a worrying rise in illegally dumped waste. Some studies demonstrate that there has been a 14% rise in asbestos fly tipping related incidents over the last 3 years. Removing illegally dumped asbestos is costing our Councils nationally over £1million pounds. Illegally dumped rubbish is often left in areas such as Churches, schools, paths, playgrounds and carparks. These are areas where the public are at risk of coming across them.

HAS are proud to be on hand to ensure the safety of the public and do their bit to keep our local County tidy.

HAS are fully licensed for asbestos disposal and our experienced operatives are highly trained in handling and dealing with asbestos materials. These could be asbestos insulation board, asbestos cement roofing sheets, asbestos pipes, asbestos vinyl floor tiles or loose asbestos insulation. Items such as these, have the potential to release asbestos fibres into the environment when they are damaged or disturbed. When this happens, exposure to the fibres poses a risk to human health.
